What is a Level Sensor?

Level sensors are devices that convert the minimum or maximum material levels of bunkers or silos into electrical signals through rotating sensors. The level signal is either displayed directly in the plant or integrated into a process control (control system). In this way, the limit level is determined with a reliable measurement.

Typical of continuous level measurement to its applications tanks in the process industry, storage tanks or silos example can be given. It provides safe measurement of the material level in the silo.

Flag type level indicators; It is a long-lasting unit with a special alloy aluminum body, specially designed drive unit and moulds, and increased mechanical protection elements.

The shaft, with a flag-shaped metal piece mounted on the end of the Level Sensors, rotates with the help of the motor and stops when it contacts the material and sends a signal. Likewise, as soon as the Level Sensor ceases to be in contact with the material, it starts to rotate again and sends a signal.
